Olivia is honored to announce that, at the respondent’s recommendation, her production of Rapture, Blister, Burn was invited to perform a scene in showcase at the 2023 Region 1 Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. While unfortunately scheduling conflicts will prohibit the production from performing, Olivia was so excited to be invited. She is unspeakably proud of the work the whole cast and crew put into the show. Thank you to KCACTF for inviting us!
KCACTF “honors excellence of overall production and offers student artists individual recognition through awards and scholarships in playwriting, acting, criticism, directing, and design” (KCACTF Region 1 website). The annual regional festivals “showcase the finest of each region’s entered productions” from the preceding calendar year. Olivia’s original ten-minute play, Carry You Home, was a regional semifinalist in playwriting at the 2021 Region 1 Festival.
