Olivia’s writing spans fiction, playwriting, journalism, and screenwriting. While her work spans the gamut in terms of genre and style, she has a soft spot for historical fiction & alternative history, adaptations, and stories centering on female characters. Her journalistic background is in arts and lifestyle journalism. She and the rest of the Hurt writers’ room were nominated for Best Writing in a Drama (English Language) at the 2023 Baltimore Next Media Webfest, and her ten-minute play Carry You Home was a Region 1 semifinalist at the 2021 Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival.
